Display WO and AU Patent Images in Drawings Tab
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users would have to open the original PDF on Insightloupe and navigate to the Drawings section to view the images for WO and AU patents.
In this release, we have enabled the images of the WO and AU patents to be displayed directly in the Drawings tab in the Expert view of the Documents module on Insightloupe, ensuring a continuous user journey and enhancing the overall user experience.
Introduction of Client Repository on Insightloupe
In the previous version of Insightloupe, we hosted multiple projects for clients on workstreams and products and insights corresponding to these projects were delivered on Insightloupe. However, collective insights across these projects were not possible until now.
For most of our analytics projects, we help clients conduct research related to one or more of their products or workstreams. In many cases, there are multiple projects corresponding to the same product/workstream. There can be some overlapping data across these multiple projects, and their insights might interest the client. For example:
- Identification and search for critical documents that are common across multiple projects.
- View comments on critical documents
- Understand critical technology themes through coverage of critical documents
- Identification of potential collaborators or merger opportunities through determination of common startups, universities, etc. across multiple projects.
- Determination of focus areas and reverse engineering of competitor strategy by combining insights from multiple projects.
- Technical focus of competitors
- Target geographies for new customers
- ROI of competitors investment strategy
In this release, we have introduced the concept of a client repository on Insightloupe, which provides a collection of documents across all projects of that client in one place. Through the repository, clients can receive collective insights across projects such as identification of common critical documents along with their respective comments and patents that are tagged across multiple categories.
Introduction of Side View for Drawings Tab
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users could view the drawing corresponding to a patent document in the Middle pane only in the Documents module.
In this release, we have introduced a side view for the Drawings tab to enable users to also view patent drawings in the right pane in the Documents module. Additionally, the adjustable width of the right pane allows users more control over how they want to view these drawings giving users more flexibility over the page structure.
