Access Technology Profile From Charts
In the previous release, we have enabled users to access profiles of technology tags from different modules on Insightloupe. However, there was a gap where users couldn’t access these profiles from charts. Since charts can be used on various modules, it somewhat limited access to technology profiles.
In this release, we have enabled access to technology profile from charts. Users will be able to view a tooltip when hovering over the tag name to indicate that the profile of the technology tag is available. Furthermore, if a definition for the tag has been provided, that definition will also be visible on hover. Users can access technology profiles from charts on all modules like reports, background, home, etc.
Create Charts on Custom Parameters
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users were allowed to change the Y-Axis label on charts using scorecards, but the value is a result of the scorecards being normalized on a scale of 0-1. Hence, scorecards can define the trends, but the labels of Y-Axis don’t indicate the actual value in most cases which leads to confusion for users.
In this release, we have enabled users to change the Y-Axis label on charts based on indicators in the advanced settings of the chart. There is a special type of indicator called tabular indicator which doesn’t normalize the score.
By using tabular indicators, charts can be created on custom parameters with actual values instead of normalized values. In this case, the x-axis parameter of the chart should be same as the field of the tabular indicator.
Improve Test Result on Indicators
In earlier version of Insightloupe, testing of indicators was performed on 10 random documents from the document set. This resulted in an indicator score of 0 because the fields on which the indicator is created might not be applicable to the document selected for testing. This did not provide a good mechanism to verify whether the indicator was working properly.
In this release, the documents for testing an indicator will be selected by filtering them based on the fields on which the indicator is created. It will only pick the documents which have at least one of the values of the field selected by the user, so that users do not receive a score of 0 on the documents while testing.
