Improved User Experience for Editing Interactive Reports
We are constantly striving to provide a seamless experience on Insightloupe for our users by updating the experience of different modules on the platform.
In this release, we have updated the user experience and interface of our interactive reports. The updates include:
- Cleaner interface for new elements pane to access all elements without scroll.
- Adding side-by-side view for editing all slide elements which is separate from new elements pane. This reduces the number of clicks while editing a slide.
Keyboard shortcuts for slide editing
Insightloupe enables users to create interactive reports by adding different interactive elements. In order to reduce the effort, Insightloupe provides keyboard shortcuts to edit slides in a report. These shortcuts save a lot of time while creating a report and many of them are synonymous with well-known keyboard shortcuts used on other platforms.
Reports on Insightloupe
Insightloupe enables its users to create interactive reports on the platform that can be presented directly. Some of these interactive features include:
- Hover over a chart element to see its details in a tool-tip,
- Double click on chart element to review that data set for the selected element,
- View chart in full screen
- Enable extrapolation of data for publication trends
- View company details for assignee trends
Insightloupe had recently updated its branding guidelines which include changes in typography, colour palette, design etc. across the platform.
In this release, we have updated the interactive reports with our new branding guidelines as well. You will be able to observe changes in the design of the following:
- Introduction slide
- Table of contents
- Section slide
- Footer of slides
