Allow alerts to be triggered manually and immediately
In the earlier versions of Insightloupe, active alerts were system-triggered as per the selected Next Planned Date and an email notification would be sent to the recipients in case of availability of alert results. There was no option to trigger alert immediately from the platform.
In this release, we have enabled users to trigger an alert from the alert list page manually. This would help in generating an alert notification to the client earlier than the Next Planned Date, if required. This would also be useful for demonstrating alert feature to clients.
On triggering an alert manually, the Next Planned Date will be recalculated as per the frequency set for the alert from the date of trigger.
The next alert will contain the documents between the date when the alert was triggered manually and the date when the next alert is triggered (manually or by the system).
Document provenance for alerts and Document Changes option
Insightloupe recently introduced a feature to show history of changes on documents where we exposed information regarding what, when, who and how the change was made. However, this detailed history was not available for documents shared in alert emails and the option to see document changes from query actions. These two sections used to display the changes in the old format where details about what changes were made was displayed.
In this release, we have enabled this new and updated changes history for alert emails and the option to see document changes from query actions. We have also removed the old way of showing changes from the platform entirely.
Enable non-alphabetical ordering of taxonomy tags
In the earlier version of Insightloupe, any new tags added to the taxonomy (either via excel file upload or manually via the platform) were saved in alphabetical order.
In this release, we have enabled users to create and rearrange the taxonomy in any order of preference from ‘Tags’ page in a project. In case the taxonomy in a project is being created for the first time using excel upload, the order of tags in taxonomy in the excel file will be retained on Insightloupe as well. However, if a Taxonomy already exists on Insightloupe, the order of tags in excel upload file would not have any impact on the ordering of tags on Insightloupe
Furthermore, users can now rearrange child tags under the same parent tag as well.
Preview tab enabled for all document types
In the earlier version of Insightloupe, the Preview tab could be configured for Patent Publications and Patent Families only. The Preview tab helps the user view multiple fields from different tabs in one place making it is easier to analyze/review the document.
In this release, we have enabled the configuration of the Preview tab for Articles, News, Products and Clinical Trials as well.
Provide suggestions while adding chartable extra fields
In the previous versions of Insightloupe, users did not receive any suggestions while adding chartable extra fields. This often led to the issue of typos for the same input.
In this release, we have enabled suggestions from the current values of chartable extra fields in the project when a user edits them on the expert view or the enrichment view.
