Configuring View of Technology Profiles
In the previous versions of Insightloupe, users could add a definition related to the tags but could not add any other information related to it.
In this release, users have been provided with a suite of configuration settings to customize the structure and view of Technology Profiles to assist them in presenting data as per the project requirement. Every part of a Technology Profile will be configurable including the position of specific user-uploaded data, visibility and order of sections in the profile, section and profile field names and other variables relevant to different sections of the profile.
Create Profile for Technology Tags
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users could import only a structure of the taxonomy and add a description for the tags in the Tags module.
With this release, users will be able to upload additional data as part of the profile for multiple technology tags after creating the taxonomy. This additional data can be used for the analysis of technology tags in intelligence studies. Users will also be able to upload supporting images or graphics that cannot be created on Insightloupe as part of the technology profile. These profiles can be created for Technology Tags, Claim and Scope Tags, and Product Tags.
Export of Technology Profiles
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users could add a definition/description to the technology tags but there was no option to download those definitions.
With this release, we have enabled users to export the complete set of additional data or images added to Technology Profiles or profiles created for any taxonomy.
Introduction of Technology Profiles
Insightloupe enables users to prepare an extensive taxonomy (tags) for each project. The taxonomy can correspond to technologies, products, and companies among others. These tags play a key role in Innovation Intelligence projects as most client queries are addressed through these tags and subsequent document tagging. These tags can be used for various activities including Benchmarking, Alerting and Monitoring, and Reporting.
In prior versions of Insightloupe, any information identified relevant to the tags could only be added as a tag definition. Additional information pertaining to these tags could not be added.
In this release, we are providing users with an enhanced delivery of Technology Innovation Intelligence projects by enabling analysts to create comprehensive Technology Profiles. These profiles can be created by adding relevant information related to the Technology tags. Profiles can also be created for Claim & Scope tags as well as Product tags.
A Technology Profile or Tag Profile will consist of the following information:
- Technology Brief: Data and images uploaded by the analyst relevant to the tag
- Scorecard: Score for the children of the tag based on parameters defined by the user
- Publication Trend: Count of documents published in the last 10 years tagged to a selected technology domain
- Player Distribution: Document count of top 10 companies working in the selected technology domain
- Prolific Players: Document count of top 10 categories of companies working in the selected technology domain
- Related Documents: List of documents tagged under the selected technology domain
