Accessibility to Company Profiles from different Project Modules
In the previous version of Insightloupe, users could access Company Profiles from the Company Intelligence dashboard and Explorer module but not from other modules on the platform where assignees/affiliations/companies were mentioned.
In this release, we have enabled access to Company Profiles across Insightloupe to provide easy access to the company profile from anywhere they have access to companies. Users can access Company Profiles from:
- Matrix and Expert views in the Documents module
- Explorer module
- Charts on all modules
- Tag profile
Chart creation on Extra Decimal and Integer Fields
In the previous version of Insightloupe, we allowed changing of the Y-axis parameter to indicators. This enabled charting on non-document related custom values by using tabular indicators. However, the tabular indicators are not linked to documents to to create each chart, a new tabular indicator is needed.
In this release, we have enabled charting on Extra decimal and integers fields as Y-axis parameters. Now any type of chart can be created on the actual values or any property related to a document.
For properties that are not related to documents, we can still use tabular indicators.
Comparison of Companies
We have recently introduced Company Profiles to describe the activities of a company to provide relevant insights. The insights include data gathered during analysis (qualitative research) as well as charts based on the analysis (quantitative research). There was an option to compare the activities of multiple companies but the comparison was majorly on quantitative research.
In this release, we have enhanced the experience of comparison by enabling a view of both qualitative research and quantitative graphical analysis. The Comparison of Companies may include following sections:
- Innovation Benchmarking: Benchmarking of selected Companies on user defined parameters.
- Organization Type: Count of documents (patents, articles, etc.) published by selected companies based on the Organization tags.
- Research Trends: Trend of research documents published by the selected companies.
- Technologies and Research Priorities: Provides insight on top technologies on which the selected companies are focusing/working.
- About the Companies: Compare details of qualitative research of selected companies.
Create Custom Charts on Company Profile and Compare Companies
We have recently enabled creation of technology and company profiles that included auto-generated default charts based on the documents tagged to the relevant company. Similarly, there was an option to compare profiles which also included auto-generated default charts. However, there was no option to add custom charts to either the Profile or while comparing profiles.
In this release, we have enabled users with an option to add custom charts on both Profiles and Comparision of profiles for both Companies and technologies. This will ensure that the Company Intelligence dashboard can be customized to the specific data as required by the client.
