Display Additional links in the Preview Tab
In the previous version of Insightloupe, external links could be added for all document types through the “Additional Links” feature. However, this field is displayed under different tabs for different document types.
In this release, we have enabled users to add ‘Additional Links’ in the ‘Preview’ tab in the Expert view of the Documents module. This allows them to conveniently include and highlight any important reference/external links upfront.
Introduce New Default Indicator
In the previous version of Insightloupe, the Claim Length indicator tended to assign a higher score to patents with higher word count, but this was only accurate in a instances. As a result, Evalueserve analysts needed to create a new indicator with the updated formula to improve their scoring of patent documents.
In this release, we have introduced a new default indicator called “Claim Broadness” which will assign a higher score to patents with smaller claim. Additionally, we have updated the formula used for “Claim Length” indicator. These improvements aim at enhancing the benchmarking process.
Line Breaks enabled for Field on Tag and Company Profiles
In the previous version of Insightloupe, the text entered in the description/definition fields of company and tag profiles was displayed in a single line, regardless if it was uploaded in a paragraph or multi-line format. This often led to a lack of clarity and readability issues.
In this release, we have enabled line breaks in the content uploaded to the description/definition fields of company and tag profiles to allow data to be presented as paragraphs or multi-line. This will help users to maintain the original formatting of their content and allow the text appear as intended.
Link Company and Technology Profile in other modules
In the previous version of Insightloupe, we had enabled users to create profiles for tags and companies and access those profiles from different modules through charts. However, these profiles could not be accessed directly on Reports, Explorer, and other modules.
In this release, we have enabled users to link company and tag profiles to text in all the modules of the project. This provides users with better accessibility to qualitative details directly from the content, without relying on charts.
